The pack’s total weight is about 360g and comes in 1 round pie cut in 2 half individual portions of 180g each. The traditional Cretan gyropita is made with frothy dough and stuffed with already grilled and sliced chicken low-fat gyros and seasoned with rosemary, fresh parsley and basil, white cheese and tomato, ideal to serve as a delicious full meal. Gyropita is produced in traditional pies workshop Kouklinos, in Crete.
THIS PRODUCT IS SHIPPED FROZEN.
– This frozen pie is shipped in thermofoil packaging covered with an ice-pack to preserve it fresh and reach you in the proper low temperature.
Once you get it put it straight in the oven or:
-If received frozen, keep in the freezer at -18C
-If received defrosted, store it in the fridge for up to 3 days
The Cretan gyropita is pre-baked. When you receive it place it -when chilled- for 15 minutes in the oven in 180 degrees, or in the grill toaster.
