Shop Kanaki’s bougatsa–vanilla custard cream pie– a delicious treat for any hour of the day. You can also enjoy it during fasting periods as it does not contain dairy products. The pie comes in a special tray for easy baking, containing sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle after baking.

- Preheat your oven to 180°C. Remove the cover and place the Bougatsa in its paper tray on the oven rack below the middle. Bake until golden brown. Normal cooking time: 40’ – 45’ minutes for fan heating.
!Baking Tip!
- In about 30’ – 35’ minutes and after the surface has taken a golden colour, carefully flip the pie in the tray upside down. Continue baking till oil is absorbed. Allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes before serving. Adjust the cooking time and temperature according to your oven.
! Caution! Do not use the grill and do not place the paper tray directly on the oven walls.

Once received you can bake in the oven right away or:
-If received frozen, keep in the freezer at -18C
-If received defrosted, store in the fridge for up to 3 days
