Zoumberakis Family

The Zoumberakis Family vineyards and distillery are based in the fruitful land of Kali Sikia, in Rethimno. They have been cultivating and producing premium Cretan drinks for many decades, with practices passed down through the generations.

In present day Zoumberakis Family is a model company with premium standards and a DIO Certification, officially upgrading their facilities and equipment in 1996. The company is known for the meraki (care) they put into every single drop of their drinks and the pristine aging conditions of their drinks.

Their vineyards are dispersed on the mountain’s slopes and covering an area of 100,000 s.q.m. Their grape varieties include local ones like: Agiorgitiko, Limniotiko, Kotsifali, Achladi & Liatiko for red grapes and Thrapsathiri, Vidiano and Vilana for white grapes.
