Whole Goat Raw from Giatras Meat Processing Company, and directly imported from Greece exclusively for the Easter period. These goats are of variable weight (℮) and of Greek origin and bred in in N. Greece (Veroia – Naousa). They are milk fed to preserve the premium tenderness of the meat. These are young goats destined for the Easter table, prepared and packed to be cooked during the celebration of Easter.
This whole goat has a variant weight of 8kg (℮) [7.91kg to 8.21kg] and 90cm length.
The animals are preserved raw in deep freeze since they are packed and they are imported frozen. This product is made for export and it is frozen right upon production and until it is shipped out of our warehouse.

Storage Info Upon Delivery:
The meat should be kept in 0-4°C after defrosting and up to 2 days after the day it was defrosted. For safety reasons the meat should be consummed after the second day of it being defrosted.
The meat can be kept in room temperature for up to 14 hours when covered appropriately to avoid cross-contamination. If it is defrosted earlier than expected, the meat should be stored in the fridge or cooked for consumption. For safety reasons, the meat should be consumed shortly after it is defrosted.
Cooking instructions for rotisserie:
Prepare the meat by coating it in a generous layer of olive oil and herbs before cooking it for 3 to 4 hours, depending on the weight of the animal and the intensity of the heat. For best result, it is recommended to rotate the meat over medium to low heat!
Cooking instructions in the oven:
- Cook in 170-180°C for 3.5 to 4.5 hours depending on the size and serving portions
- For a crispy outer layer cook in 200°C for the last 20minutes
