Tsalafouti is the traditional cheese spread from Agrafa region produced by award-winning Kissas Dairy, located in Agrafa, Thessaly, Central Greece, a location with long tradition in cheese making.
This premium Greek cheese spread is made with:
- 100% Greek fermented sheep’s milk and rennet
- contains live cultures and low lactose content
- drained with cotton cloths
- fresh product has a short shelf-life
Tsalafouti spread has slightly spicy, salty taste, velvety texture that is easy to spread. Due to its low content in lactose, can be used as an alternative to other dairy choices, as to anyone with lactose intolerance it is more tolerant than dairy milk.
