Buy online the award-winning Santorini Nykteri dry white wine produced by SantoWines Cooperative Winery in the vineyards of Santorini, marking the wine as P.D.O. This exceptional wine is a blend of local varieties of 75% Assyrtiko, 15% Athiri, 10% Aidani and has been produced in vineyards 400 metres above the sea levels in the volcanic soils of the island, from vines aged 20-60 years and handpicked specifically between 10-20th August. Nykteri means ‘all night long” because the vine leaves are pressed all night after their harvest! Its maturation process in French oak barrels lasts for 3 months. This multi-levelled wine has a clear lemon colour and aromas of jasmine, green fruits and a vanilla taste in the background. It has a long and pleasant aftertaste with elegant tones of oak, 13.8% ABV, dry, well-balanced and with crispy acidity on the palate. It is ideally paired with seafood and fish, white meats, cheeses and fruits.
