Retsina Mesogion white PGI wine 750ml from Sigma Gourmet, resinated wine, traditionally made in Greece for 2000 years. Retisna Mesogion has a unique and elegant pine flavour originated from the practice of sealing wine vessels, particularly amphorae, with pine resin in ancient times. This retsina is monovarietal made from hand-harvested Savvatiano grapes grown in vineyards of East Attica, Mesogeia Greece. It has a golden yellow colour, rich taste and ideally is served with Greek traditional gastronomy and seafood. 12% ABV. Vintage 2021. Best served at 10° – 12°C.
