Pinot Noir 750ml Mega Spileo is an elegant dry red wine. The grapes are produced in the mountainous vineyards of Aigialeia at an altitude of 1000 m. The grapes are handpicked and harvested in late September, to ferment in open barrels for 18-20 months.
Pinot Noir 750ml Mega Spileo has:
– a bright red colour with hints of violet
– vibrant aromas of red fruit and mint with subtle botanical and coffee notes
– balanced acidity
Ideally served with meaty and creamy pasta dishes.

Mega Spileo means Large Cave, and it took its name from its location near Kalavryta in Peloponnese, where there is a large cave and a Monastery, the second oldest continuously occupied religious place in the world. The vineyard belonged to the Monastery, where the monks making wine since the 15th century until it was completely abandoned in the beginning of the 20th century when the current owners took over and revitalised this historic vineyard.
*Careful transfer of the wine to a decanter before serving is recommended, to avoid sediments and allow the flavour profile to better express itself.
