The Lion D’or – Xrysos Leon Xinomvaro Red Wine 750ml, in Greek the wine is called Xrysos Leon ‘Golden Lion’ and the name highlights the greatness but nobility of the product. Made from the local Xinomavro grape variety of the vineyards located near the Platanotopos area in Kavala. This is marked as a PGI wine of Pangeon Appellation.
The fermentation is done in low temperatures for 5-6 years. The wine has a rich ruby colour with a pleasant acidity, subtle tannins and fruity/herbal ending notes.

Tasting Notes: Full body of red fruit aromas intensified with herbal notes and hints of tomato leaves.
Perfect Pairing: Roasted dishes or stews, rich Mediterranean dishes and salads with medium-aged cheeses.
ABV: 14.5%
Best served at 16-18C.
