Store the barrel in cool and dry place. The olives are preserved when stored into the brine.
*The brine includes a preservative power which creates a white foam at the surface. The white substance on the top of the brine is a preservative added to the olives barrel in brine, in order to preserve them long-term. The preservative is consisted of Sodium benzoate and Potassium sorbate. Both preservatives are commonly used in foods.
Take out the olives stored in brine and wash carefully before consuming.
