The grapes grow in an organic mountainous vineyard at 820-880m altitude in Kalavryta overlooking the Vouraikos Gorge, marking the wine as PGI Achaia. The grapes are harvested late in October.
After fermentation is completed, the wine is matured for at least 2.5 years in new French oak barrels in the Estate cellar and for the same amount of time in the bottle to develop the ideal balance. To preserve its flavour, the wine does not undergo stabilisation and filtering.

On the nose aromas of white pepper, black fruits and hints of herbs mingle against a backdrop of chocolate and coffee. On the palate is  complex, balanced, with good acidity and elegant tannins. The after-taste is long and pleasant, with notes of spices and chocolate.
