Atelier dry red wine is an exceptional blend of local variety Mavro Kalavritino 60% and international Cabernet Sauvignon 40% from grapes growing in mountainous vineyards of Aigialia, Peloponnese, altitude 750 – 900m, marking the wine as PGI Achaia.
Vinification it is done separately for the two varieties and 50% of the wine matures for 6-8 months in oak barrels.
Atelier red has deep red colour. On the nose it has aromatic notes of red fruits, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate full-bodied, balanced with mild tannins, woody notes offer and a long after-taste.
Ideally served with pasta, meat stews and yellow cheese.
