Kontosouvli is already marinated according to the traditional recipe and is raw and frozen, to be cooked and enjoyed at home. This is raw chicken which needs cooking, roasting or grilling before consumption. Ideal for barbecue too! Ideally cook it into baking paper to help maintaining all its juices and flavours.
The weight is always variable (℮), and approximately + – 5% of the product’s net weight.

- NEEDS COOKING/GRILLING BEFORE CONSUMPTION – COOK IT FROM FROZEN OR CHILLED
COOKING INFO:
Wrap in baking paper while frozen and put it in the oven for about 45′ from frozen or 30′ when chilled in 180 degrees. Remove the baking paper and let it slowly cooked for another 45′. Note that these instructions depend on the oven and you should always check if it needs more or less cooking.

– Shipped in thermofoil packaging covered with an ice-pack to preserve it fresh and reach you in the proper low temperature.
Once received you can bake in the oven right away or:
-If received frozen, keep in the freezer at -18C
-If received defrosted, store in the fridge for up to 3 days
