Terkenlis was established in 1948 in Thessaloniki as a traditional patisserie which nowadays has turned into a phinomenal brand in Greece specialised in tsourekia – brioches based in Greek traditional and international recipes.
Terkenlis has a vast number of branches across Greece and has also presence in foreign markets such as the UK coordinating with local distributors such as Agora.
Agora has acheived an ongoing cooperation with Terkenlis to import an distribute fresh seasonal produce during the major festive periods of the year
Agora sources the Terkenlis seasonal produce directly from their production facility located outside Thessaloniki, a 8,000 square meter premises, featuring among others the workshops and packaging areas and uses the latest in contemporary pattiserie expertise.
Terkenlis number-one priority is quality in every stage of production by using raw ingredients of the highest quality, by guaranteeing the health and safety regulations during production and ensuring the safe distribution of its produce and also implementing the rules of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
To achieve these objectives there is consistent check and control of all the critical parameters of the processes followed, implementing a Quality Assurance System in line with the ISO 22000 International Standards and the HACCP system.
Agora works closely with Terkenlis when it comes to the seasonal fresh produce sourced and distributed across the UK. There are specific time frames met, in order to deliver to all of you the seasonal Terkenlis items in their highest quality. Terkenlis fresh produce has only few weeks of self life, so we make sure to set exact dates of production, import and distribution of the produce through our eShop during each festive period which are usually Christmas, New Year and Easter.
